Clock Safe
Safes shouldnt really look like safes, so this idea gets the thumbs up from me. Simple idea, but so sensible. Why did it take so long?

The Clarion DriveEye is a small camera that attaches to your windscreen to record any accidents you might have.The camera automatically senses emergency braking and captures video before, during and after an accident. It saves 15 seconds of footage in its buffer from right before the crash occurred, and an additional 5 seconds after impact.

Colour Changing Coffee Cup
Smart Lid Systems have come up with a special lid looks like a normal plastic lid that goes ontop of take-away cups at the coffee shop. It’s normally dark brown but turns red if the coffee or tea inside is hot. Gradually, the red will fade to brown as the beverage cools down. It also a sealing indicator which shows you whether or not the lid is securely attached properly to the cup.

Once the mouse has been trapped and killed, the device will actually send a text message alerting the owner that a mouse has been exterminated.
